Job Opportunity: Operating Technician
Are you a technically skilled professional with a passion for keeping critical building systems running smoothly? We are looking for a reliable and experienced Operating Technician to join our team and take responsibility for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of water, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Your Responsibilities:
* Operate, monitor, and maintain technical systems in the areas of water treatment, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and building control systems
* Ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of building services and utilities
* Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate necessary repairs with internal and external partners
* Troubleshoot system issues and implement technical solutions
* Support energy and process optimization efforts
* Collaborate with facility management and safety teams to ensure compliance with operational standards
Your Profile
* Completed technical vocational training in technical building equipment, process engineering, water treatment, or a comparable qualification
* Several years of hands-on experience in building systems and utilities (e.g., HVAC, waterworks, electrical, measurement & control tech)
* Strong understanding of technical building systems and operational procedures
* Ability to work independently, structured, and under pressure
* Confident user of MS Office and relevant technical software
* Fluent German (native-level) and good English skills – written and spoken
