KG Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Switchgears Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day We are looking for an experienced and accomplished function leader to join our EQS team as the Product Integrity, Process Quality & Sustainability Manager in Grid Technologies Switchgears.The role ensures global product quality and process excellence by maintaining compliant, capable workflows and staying closely connected with operations, engineering, and suppliers to anticipate risks and resolve critical issues quickly. You strengthen First Pass Yield, reduce Non Conformance Costs, enhance process capability, and secure reliable delivery performance through defect prevention, disciplined change control, and effective elimination of systemic problems.As owner of the Product Safety Officer function, you establish and maintain a global Product Safety Management System with defined procedures and clear safety standards for products and operations. Working within the GT SG EQS community, you align sites, promote leadership, and accelerate the sharing of best practices. You collaborate closely with EHS, Continuous Improvement, TQM, and Engineering to improve the full value chain and drive sustainable quality performance across all Switchgears factoriesHow You’ll Make an Impact
1. Ensure compliance with all applicable directives, standards (ISO/IEC, customer specifications), and material compliance requirements; establish effective systems for product conformity and appoint key SMEs to support regulatory and technical compliance
2. Lead the global Product Safety Officer function by maintaining a robust Product Safety Management System, conducting risk assessments, and driving investigations of product safety related non conformities with Legal, Service, and Communications as needed
3. Oversee global product integrity by defining requirements, setting control plans, managing design and process changes, assessing risks, confirming readiness, and ensuring compliance together with Engineering and TQM
4. Define, deploy, and maintain global process quality standards (SPC, MSA, capability, mistake proofing, layered process confirmation), lead structured problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC), and execute thorough root cause to closure containment and recovery plans for yield/OTD constraints
5. Implement and refine FMEA methodologies (PFMEA/DFMEA), integrate sustainability KPIs (CO₂e, energy/water use, waste, circularity, SF₆ control), and align QMS (ISO 9001) with Environmental and Safety management systems (ISO 14001/45001)
6. Run monthly performance dialogs with factory leaders on FPY, NCC, OTD, capability indices, customer claims, and sustainability KPIs; lead audits and internal assessments, ensuring timely closure and horizontal replication of actions
What You Bring
7. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial/Quality Engineering, or a related technical discipline, with several years in Quality, Product Engineering, or Manufacturing across multi site environments and strong supplier/engineering interfaces
8. Proven track record improving FPY, OTD, NCC, and process capability through FMEA, SPC/MSA, CAPA, audits, and structured problem solving methods (8D, A3, DMAIC); experience in high growth or fast paced environments
9. Certified CE Coordinator with hands on experience in global conformity assessment (CE/UKCA/EAC/KC), product risk estimations (HAZOP, RAPEX, FMEA), and ensuring compliant market access worldwide
10. Strong leadership in matrix/global organizations, influencing cross functional teams and driving systemic improvements; excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
11. Working knowledge of material compliance (RoHS/REACH), eco design/LCA concepts, and sustainability aspects (including SF₆/CO₂e programs); Green Belt certification and Six Sigma leadership experience are a plus
12. Willingness to travel 25–50% internationally, demonstrating resilience, attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and strong collaboration skills that support a high performance quality culture
