KG Organization EVP Global Functions Business Unit Digital Products and Solutions Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Experienced Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a key member of Siemens Energy’s Digital Products and Solutions (DPS) team, you’ll shape and advance our software architecture to support and accelerate the digital growth of all SE business areas. You’ll lead architectural governance processes, ensuring solutions adhere to organizational standards and best practices. You’ll facilitate the Architecture Decision Board, aligning architectural choices with our strategic IT roadmap and business objectives. Collaborating with stakeholders, you’ll translate business needs into robust frameworks, evaluate emerging technologies, and maintain comprehensive documentation. You’ll oversee IT investment risk management and coordinate with project managers and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery on scope, time, and budget. By driving professionalization, automation, and standardization in SE’s software development, you’ll deliver high-quality, tailored digital solutions meeting customers’ unique technical and commercial requirements.How You’ll Make an Impact
16. You will develop and implement architectural governance processes to ensure compliance with organizational standards and policies.
17. Lead and facilitate the architecture decision board, ensuring that architectural decisions align with business objectives and IT strategy.
18. Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap that aligns with the organization's business goals.
19. Work closely with partners to understand business needs and ensure the architecture meets these requirements.
20. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to determine their relevance and potential impact on the organization.
21. Create and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including guidelines, standards, and best practices.
What You Bring
22. A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a long-lasting experience in software development and software architecture.
23. In-depth knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, application/solution architecture principles and reference architecture.
24. Analytical skills, with a data-driven approach and proficiency in statistical analysis and programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript and SQL
25. Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms, with experience in designing solutions; experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
26. Familiarity with cloud computing, microservices, Containers / Orchestration (such as Docker, Podman, K8s), and other modern technologies.
27. Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with fluency in English and the ability to operate effectively in a global, multicultural environment. Proven track record in work with multi-functional product teams and engage directly with clients.
