Your mission The Borealis Hotel Group is looking for an ambitious Assistant Financial Controller (f/m/d). You will be a key link in a cluster of as many as 12 hotels and growing. You will work closely with the Cluster Director of Finance and the finance team. In addition, you have a lot of and direct contact with the Hotel Managers, which means you will be working on both strategic and operational matters. What does your working day look like? You have experience in preparing reports, including budgets and reporting. You have an eye for cash flow management and in monitoring and implementing the relevant policies. You see trends in reports, easily spot the necessary adjustments and know how to communicate your vision clearly. In this role, you have a high degree of responsibility, which you feel comfortable with. Of course, we are there to coach you further - and develop you where necessary. You have at least three years' experience within the accounting department of hotels. You have knowledge of PMS software, payroll software and accounting software such as Exact Online, Elvy is an advantage. You are strong in the Dutch and English language, in conversation and writing. You have good Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word, Excel and Teams. You have good skills in training hotel teams on policies and SOPs. You are sufficiently familiar with current / recent laws and regulations, as well as accounting guidelines and procedures.
