As our GPS tracker product portfolio continues to grow, we need a dedicated tester who can ensure the quality of both hardware and software across our device lineup. You'll test PAJ GPS tracker devices end-to-end, from firmware behaviour to companion app experience, and translate your findings into structured reports that directly drive product improvements.
The Job:
* Systematically test GPS tracker devices—hardware and firmware—and document results with precision
* Collect, structure, and communicate product feedback clearly to the development team
* Write test reports and contribute actively to product improvement proposals
* Test companion apps on iOS and Android and evaluate real user experience
* Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to reproduce and resolve bugs
The Individual:
* If you are a curious, independent, hands-on person with an interest in testing hardware and software, this could be the role for you!
* Has interest testing hardware devices (embedded/IoT), with a curious and hands-on approach to understanding how and why things fail
* Knowledgeable of software testing (manual & automated) and comfortable working independently to structure and execute test plans without close supervision
* A clear, analytical communicator in German and English who can translate technical findings into well-written test reports and documentation that engineers and product teams can act on
* Versed in technical writing in order to create test reports & documentation
* A natural problem-solver who brings structured thinking to ambiguous situations and takes initiative
* Familiar with GPS or tracking technology, and/or experienced testing iOS and Android apps with an eye for user experience (nice to have)
* Entry-level candidates are welcome (0 to 1 year of professional experience). Internship or project experience in hardware/software testing is a plus.
