Lloyds Bank is seeking a seasoned Legal Counsel to provide expert guidance and support to its business departments.
Job Description
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Legal Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for providing German law advice to our business departments, reviewing and advising on lending documentation, product-related questions, and day-to-day requests from stakeholders. You will also analyze and advise the business areas on all relevant German/EU regulatory matters, ensuring that contracts remain in compliance with applicable law and regulation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A 1st and 2nd Legal State Examination or comparable qualification
* Several years of relevant experience in an international law firm or in-house legal experience in Banking
* Sound knowledge of the economic background and regulatory aspects of Banking and Finance
* Proven ability to assimilate complex information and support decision making within the business
* Conceptual understanding of the principles of the business area including a detailed knowledge of relevant legislation
