The position is to be filled from March 1st, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Bonn, Germany. You will work 20 hours/week, to enable you to continue your qualification within the framework of your current studies. Mobile work within Germany is possible in agreement with your team. 100% mobile work is not possible. The position is remunerated with 15 Euro per hour.
The Philanthropy and Partnerships Team acquires and manages corporate partners and donors. As a working student, you will support our corporate cooperation team in maintaining existing partnerships and acquiring new ones. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team, have the opportunity to drive your own initiatives, and contribute significantly to financing our project work in 37 countries.
Your responsibilities
* Administrative support for the team’s day-to-day operations, particularly in data maintenance and recording incoming donations
* Assistance in the preparation of project proposals and reports, including translating English content into German
* Support in stakeholder-oriented communication, as well as in creating thank-you letters and other project-related reports from our Welthungerhilfe initiatives
* Creation of mail merge letters and Excel spreadsheets
* Assistance with fundraising activities
Your profile
* You are currently enrolled at a university or college
* You are confident using MS Office applications
* You demonstrate a strong customer and service orientation
* You have an excellent writing style and strong communication skills
* You work independently, in a structured, and results-oriented manner
* Your German is at C1 level or native fluency, and your English skills (spoken and written) are very good
