Your role
As a Market Infrastructure Expert (functional profile) you will:
1. drive engagement and collaboration with stakeholders, cross-functional teams or providers to identify requirements, align priorities and co-create innovative solutions;
2. steer the development of a robust and comprehensive back-end design for the digital euro service platform in collaboration with the project team;
3. lead the establishment and maintenance of product backlogs, business flows and functional/technical implementation specifications to shape and drive the successful development of the digital euro.

Qualifications, experience and skills
Essential:
4. a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, computer science, economics, engineering, information systems, project management or another relevant field (see for details on degree equivalences);
5. in addition to the above, four or more years’ professional experience in product management in the field of payments implementation projects or large-scale financial infrastructure (e.g. bank systems, clearing and settlement platforms or payment schemes);
6. a track record in either (i) defining backlogs of requirements for the development of payment solutions or infrastructure or (ii) translating high-level business requirements into business flows, implementation guidelines or functional/technical specifications;
7. a sound understanding of payment solutions or infrastructure;
8. proven analytical skills and experience in drafting clear and concise product management documentation;
9. an advanced (C1) command of English and an intermediate (B1) command of at least one other official language of the EU, according to the .
Desired:
10. experience in dealing with providers of payment solutions or infrastructure, including in (but not limited to) the context of payment fraud detection or offline payments;
11. experience in cross-functional, multidisciplinary projects in an agile environment.
