We are looking for a Securities operations & data officer for our client.
Context: As part of a core banking migration project, several back-office team members are being reassigned. To maintain operational stability, the company is seeking three experienced professionals to join the securities operations team, reporting directly to the Head of Back Office. Location: Luxembourg
Contract: 1-year mission, renewable (consultancy)
Start Date: ASAP or January 2026 latest Work
Mode: Full on-site (no remote work)
Main Responsibilities :
* Manage settlement of securities transactions (DVP/RVP, FOP) across equities, bonds, and funds.
* Process corporate actions (income collection, mandatory events).
* Liaise with custodians, transfer agents, and clients to ensure accurate execution.
* Maintain and enrich the securities referential database (data flows, quality control).
* Analyze incidents, support IT and business teams, and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Participate in project-related tasks and documentation of procedures.
Profile Requirements :
* Minimum 5 years of experience in securities back-office, corporate actions, or referential data.
* University degree in Finance, Economics or Management.
* Familiarity with SWIFT messages and core banking systems.
* Fluent in English (mandatory), Portuguese is an asset.
* Strong service orientation, team spirit, precision, and adaptability.
* No previous managerial experience.
