Head of Key Account Management and Strategic Sales (m/f/d)Permanent employee,Full-time· MunichAbout the roleWe are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Key Account Management to lead our key account sales function. In this pivotal role, you will drive long-term partnerships with strategic clients, lead a high-performing team, and work closely with the executive and product teams to deliver value-driven automation solutions.This is a high-impact leadership role for a commercially minded individual with deep industry knowledge, client relationship expertise, and a passion for automation and robotics.Your ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the Key Account Management team across Europe and the North America regionOwn and grow strategic customer relationships with major accounts across manufacturing, automotive, logistics, and other automation-heavy industriesDrive revenue growth by identifying upselling, cross-selling, and long-term strategic partnership opportunitiesDevelop and execute account development plans aligned with broader sales and product strategiesServe as a key voice between customers and internal stakeholders (R&D, Product, Marketing, and Operations)Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategyDeliver accurate forecasting, reporting, and analysis to senior managementRepresent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and client meetings as a senior commercial leaderBachelor's or Master's degree or above in Engineering, Business, or a related field8+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial automation, robotics, or related technology sectorsProven track record in managing and growing key accounts at a senior levelStrong leadership experience with the ability to coach and motivate teamsDeep understanding of automation solutions and technical sales cyclesExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsFluent in English; German other languages are a plusWhat we offerA leadership role at the forefront of robotics and automation innovationCompetitive compensation package including bonus and benefitsFlexible working options and a hybrid work environmentCareer development opportunities in a fast-growing, international companyA collaborative and future-driven company cultureAgile Robots SE is an international high-tech company based in Munich, Germany with a production site in Kaufbeuren and more than 2300 employees worldwide.
