Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Contracts Counsel.
Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Interim Contracts Counsel to support various teams by managing overflow contract work across multiple areas, including technology, HR, real estate, and more. They are looking for a versatile generalist with the ability to navigate diverse contract types and provide strategic guidance across departments. Experience with customer communication solutions—whether through traditional print and mail or digital platforms—is highly valued and adds significant expertise to this role.

Location: Remote, East Coast schedule
Responsibilities Include:
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide array of contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements and more. Provide legal guidance on contractual matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Identify and mitigate contractual risks, advising leadership on strategic solutions. Our client is actively enhancing their Contract Lifecycle Management system and highly values prior experience in similar optimizations, particularly with IntelAgree.
Qualifications Include:
* J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one jurisdiction
* 8+ years of experience in contract law, preferably in a diverse range of industries.
* Strong expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and risk assessment.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple contract matters simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this role is $95-100 based on applicable experience.
