Overview
We are seeking an experienced Allen Bradley PLC Engineer to join a growing team delivering advanced automation solutions within the data centre sector across Europe.
This is a remote-based role with extensive travel to sites across Europe, working on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, program, and commission Allen Bradley PLC systems (ControlLogix / CompactLogix)
* Develop and modify PLC code in line with project requirements
* Integrate PLC systems with SCADA, BMS, and other control platforms
* Support FAT/SAT, commissioning, and on-site testing across European projects
* Diagnose and resolve faults within automation systems
* Work closely with project teams, clients, and other engineering disciplines
* Produce and maintain technical documentation
Requirements
* Strong experience with Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix / CompactLogix)
* Proficiency in Rockwell Automation software (Studio 5000 / RSLogix)
* Experience within data centres or critical infrastructure environments (highly desirable)
* Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, etc.)
* Experience integrating PLCs with SCADA systems
* Willingness to travel extensively across Europe
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
* Fluent in English (additional European languages beneficial)
