Your mission
* Lead global strategic account management for major pharmaceutical customers, with a strong focus on EU‑centric key accounts.
* Drive long‑term, multi‑program partnerships and complex commercial engagements.
* Build strong, trust‑based relationships with senior scientific and business stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for stand‑alone and integrated discovery programs across Proteros’ full service portfolio.
* Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sustainable long‑term growth.
* Partner closely with scientific and commercial leadership to shape proposals, project strategies and commercial planning.
* Lead high‑level commercial negotiations at executive level.
* Represent Proteros at international conferences, industry events and senior customer meetings.
* Work seamlessly with internal teams in Munich to ensure consistent project scoping, quoting, onboarding and delivery.
Your profile
* 5‑15 years of business development experience, depending on seniority, ideally with at least 5 years in the CRO or drug discovery environment.
* Degree in a life sciences discipline.
* Proven track record of managing and expanding strategic collaborations with top global pharmaceutical companies.
* Strong strategic mindset and excellent commercial judgment.
* Deep understanding of early drug discovery, structural biology, proteins, biophysics, screening, and integrated small molecule and biologics programs.
* Ability to build trust, influence decisions and drive alignment at the executive level.
* International travel willingness of approximately 20–30 percent.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Role can be field‑based anywhere in Europe; Munich preferred.
