Senior Software Engineer (Odoo / ERP) (m/w/d) – Remote AlphaPet Ventures GmbH – Join us to push healthy pet food standards forward. Responsibilities Design and develop sophisticated solutions for our Odoo-based ERP system, optimize existing modules, and ensure their stability, efficiency, and scalability. Implement strategic ERP projects, evaluate the technical feasibility of requirements from tickets, and collaborate closely with Product Owners. Manage the entire release process, handle branch management (Git), monitor the CI/CD pipeline, and communicate releases to all stakeholders. Write clean, maintainable code; ensure quality through comprehensive testing and promote high standards in the team through code reviews. Proactively identify opportunities for process automation and apply your knowledge of AI tools to optimize development and business processes. Profile At least 5 years of professional experience in software development, ideally with a focus on backend or ERP systems. Solid, hands‑on experience in developing with Odoo and the OCA framework. Proven experience in using AI tools for process optimization, code review, or system improvement. Excellent knowledge of Python and PostgreSQL, and confident handling of Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong commitment to sustainable software architecture, clean code, and a solution‑oriented mindset. Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
