Tasks and Qualifications:
What will you do in this role?
5. You will be instrumental in building and mentoring technical leaders, leading and developing high-performing controls hardware, software, and commissioning execution teams through clear direction and effective people management.
6. Main Point of Contact for ASRS controls topics, e.g. project escalations, resource management, product development, solution development, service, and aftersales support.
7. Workload planning in coordination with controls team leads and project coordinator.
8. Financial control of cost centre and monitoring of project budgets.
9. Ensure ASRS solution meets all standard safety requirements for the region as defined in offer.
10. Drive alignment, consistency, and harmonisation across ASRS controls teams globally.
11. Support Solution Manager and global sales teams during commercial phase with cost effective and innovative technical solutions.
12. Maintain departmental technical standards and documentation.
13. Support ASRS CoE leader to develop departmental strategies, goals and KPI’s.
14. Develop skills competency and capability to support global demand and career development.
15. Initiate and manage improvement initiatives for tools, products, and processes.
16. Engage in regular communications with team members through 1:1’s and team meetings.
What are we looking for?
17. Experienced leader with a strong track record of building, developing, and empowering high-performing engineering teams.
18. Comprehensive knowledge of controls technology in industrial automation space.
19. Strong people leadership experience, including performance management, succession planning, and organizational development.
20. Strong ability to collaborate cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to align engineering delivery with business goals.
21. Experience in large-scale international automation projects.
22. Solid understanding of industrial controls systems (such as E-Plan, TIA Portal, Siemens S7, Step 7, inverters, SCADA systems, Fieldbus systems).
23. Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, JIRA, Salesforce, SAP.
24. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
25. A proactive, customer-focused mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and a willingness to go the extra mile.
26. Full working proficiency in English and German languages (both written and spoken).
27. Desired: bachelor’s degree in a technical engineering discipline.
28. Desired: Understanding / Qualification in Machinery Safety.
