About your team Be part of a growing team which is heading towards a technical modernization programme and bring in own ideas and experience. In this role you will be part of an agile cross-functional team and help delivering functional enhancements for mission critical enterprise web applications in the transactional area which serves hundreds of thousands of customers. About your role You will have end2end responsibility to deliver scalable, performant, clean and maintainable solutions in the web and mobile area which adds value to FFBs business in the financial industry. Your key responsibilities are: technical solution design, requirement analysis and gathering scoping of agile sprints and coordination with release management team to drive software architectural changes and refactoring initiatives to coordinate small enhancements on existing software solutions (BAU) vendor management and controlling as part of the technical responsibilities in project workstreams close collaboration with other delivery leads, business analysts, technical support teams and business stakeholders About you Eager to grow your knowledge and your career, you’ll fit right in. You’ll succeed because you: have a solid long-term practical experience as full-stack software engineer in Java EE based web applications have a proven track record of guiding development teams, preferably first experience in (junior) leadership role aim for highest software quality standards have practical experience with web MVC frameworks (preferably Spring MVC and Struts) and API design have practical experience and understanding of ORM frameworks and relational databases (preferably Hibernate/JPA and Oracle RDBMS) are able to identify refactoring and improvement opportunities (refactor as you go approach) have first experiences in microservice architectures and cloud technologies, preferably AWS have strong communication skills across hierarchical levels and teams are comfortable to communicate effectively in German and English language (both written and oral) Feel rewarded For starters, we’ll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
