Could you be the full-time Site Procurement Director (f/m/d) in Siegen we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
Our Siegen site is an international competence center for bogies. 800 colleagues develop, manufacture, test, and repair bogies for global rail traffic, ensuring stability and comfort on the tracks. Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. You’ll report to Site Managing Director and lead a dedicated team of 3 employees.
We’ll look for you to:
* Act as the liaison between the Procurement Function and Site operational teams
* Support tender preparation by overseeing procurement cost commitments
* Support project execution by managing supplier performance in terms of Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD)
* Facilitate and manage the procurement team
* Drive procurement performance
* Contribute to project execution and profitability
* Promote operational excellence with a focus on cash management
* Monitor and report on performance metrics
