Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Merchandise Logistics Assistant to join our Frankfurt-based team on a part-time basis. Additionally, this role is planned to be temporary. This is subject to change. This position is ideal for students seeking hands-on experience in logistics and inventory management within a dynamic, multicultural setting. Key responsibilities include receiving and organising merchandise, performing inventory checks, preparing customer orders for shipment, and maintaining accurate real-time records of all inbound and outbound goods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and process incoming merchandise; ensure accurate placement and organisation within designated storage areas
* Conduct daily inventory checks and perform weekly audits of promotional product stock
* Prepare, package, and dispatch customer orders in line with order schedules and delivery requirements
* Maintain accurate and real-time records of all inbound and outbound inventory using the shared tracking system
* Provide general support for warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as assigned
Requirements:
* Based in Frankfurt and available to work on-site at our local office
* Physically able to handle packages up to 20 kg and remain on foot for extended periods
* Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, as planning may sometimes be unpredictable
* Fluency in English is required
* Fluency in Chinese is preferred, but not required
* Ideally enrolled at a university in Germany
* Basic proficiency in spreadsheets and digital inventory systems
* Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational and record-keeping skills
* Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team
