The Role
We’re currently supporting an AI-driven HealthTech company building next-generation software solutions for the psychotherapy and mental healthcare space.
They’re looking for a senior clinical and scientific leader to help shape the future of AI-supported mental health products — combining clinical expertise, research leadership, and hands-on innovation within a fast-growing environment.
This role sits at the intersection of psychotherapy, AI, digital health, and medical device regulation, with direct influence over product strategy, scientific validation, and clinical partnerships.
Your Responsibilities
• Drive the scientific and clinical innovation roadmap for AI-powered mental health products
• Define clinical requirements, efficacy concepts, and evidence strategies for new product features
• Lead collaborations with universities, clinical institutions, and research partners
• Support clinical studies, evaluations, and real-world evidence projects
• Contribute to regulatory and scientific documentation within digital health / medical device environments
• Work closely with product and leadership teams on future AI-supported psychotherapy solutions
What We’re Looking For
• Strong research background within psychotherapy, clinical psychology, or digital mental health
• Experience working at the intersection of healthcare and technology innovation
• Knowledge of medical device or digital health regulatory frameworks (EU MDR / SaMD / AI Act beneficial)
• Experience leading clinical studies, research projects, or interdisciplinary collaborations
• Strong communication skills in both German and English
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to move between strategy and execution
