Responsibilities
Our security consulting approach focuses on ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of data and systems. As a Senior IT Security Consultant (m/f/d), you will take a leading role in the development and implementation of comprehensive security strategies and solutions for our clients. You will work on a holistic security approach to help our clients optimally protect their digital environments against cyber threats.
1. Strategic Consulting: Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies for complex IT infrastructures
2. Leadership: Lead and mentor junior consultants and team members
3. Project Management: Take on project responsibility and ensure timely delivery of high-quality security solutions
4. Stakeholder Management: Closely interact with clients and internal stakeholders to discuss and implement security requirements and solutions
5. Embedded Security: Enhance the resilience of digital environments against cyber threats
6. Prevention: Identify vulnerabilities and actively implement preventive measures
7. Implementation: Develop and implement advanced security solutions to optimize operations
8. Design: Design access rights and identity management (Identity & Access Management)
9. IoT Security: Focus on risk and compliance and ensure IoT security
10. Cloud Security: Advise on cloud security and cloud computing infrastructure
11. Platform Security: Ensure the security of system-centric platforms (SAP, CI/CD, Kafka)
12. Application Security: Ensure application security during development and operational phases
13. Ransomware Readiness: Participate in ransomware readiness assessments
14. DevSecOps: Integrate DevSecOps practices and incorporate security aspects
15. Security-in-Depth: Develop and implement security-in-depth strategies
16. Training and Documentation: Participate in IT security training and contribute to process documentation
17. Compliance: Provide comprehensive insights into various compliance frameworks, data protection, and privacy (IT & compliance audits)
Your Qualifications
18. Several years of relevant professional experience in the broad field of IT and/or cyber security
19. Strong curiosity and motivation to quickly learn new areas and continuously follow current developments in IT security
20. Successfully completed studies in an IT-related field, e.g., Computer Science
21. Expertise in authentication, authorization, role-based access control, and single sign-on
22. Experience with concepts of identity lifecycle management, identity provisioning, and identity attestation
23. Willingness to tackle new challenges in areas such as DevSecOps, Application Security Testing, Identity & Access Management, and Risk & Compliance
24. Knowledge in the area of cloud security services, particularly related to identity and access management, platform protection, data, and application security, and the management of security operations
25. Interest in the topic of ransomware and the development of readiness assessments
26. Customer orientation and enjoyment of project work in a (inter)national environment
27. Fluent English, both spoken and written
