Senior Power Systems Engineer

1. Develop power supply concepts of steel plants and rolling mills:
* Design substation single line diagrams
* Sizing of distribution transformers
* Selection of MV and HV switchgears and cables
* Develop substation SCADA protection concepts
* Design substation secondary circuits (basic and detail engineering)
2. Power systems harmonics analysis, short circuit and load flow analysis
3. Coordination of the developed concept with customers
4. Support in the handling of pre-projects, in sales activities and in day-to-day business
* Knowledge of high and medium voltage distribution systems and experience in design tools ETAP, EPLAN, SINCAL, MATLAB SIMULINK or similar is required
* Good written and spoken German and English skills
* Experience on sizing of STATCOM or harmonic filters highly appreciated
* Relay settings and coordination calculations highly appreciated
* Willingness to learn, an independent, structured way of working, reliability, high quality awareness and the ability to work in a team round off your profile
