Scope of the Role
* Report to the Business Unit Management and Operations Director
* Take full responsibility for safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery of the project scope
* Lead and manage the Project Team and interface directly with the Client Team
* Set clear direction, targets, and expectations across programme, quality, cost, and safety
* Chair and lead weekly project, design, and client meetings; ensure close-out of actions
* Drive short- and medium-term planning using lookaheads and weekly planners
* Implement and manage the project audit plan; drive closure of all findings
* Ensure full compliance with Safety, Quality, Environmental, and company procedures
* Manage procurement planning and engineering delivery to meet programme milestones
* Track progress against plan and issue clear, concise project reporting
* Maintain project margins through cost control and regular commercial reviews
* Foster strong client relationships and promote a robust QEHS culture
* Mentor and develop project teams and subcontractors
* Coordinate subcontractors and monitor performance against agreed KPIs
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications and Experience
* Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification
* Minimum 10+ years’ experience managing large construction projects as a main contractor
* Strong knowledge of Civil, Structural, and Architectural packages
* Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and reporting skills
* Ability to work independently with close attention to detail
* Strong team-working capability and stakeholder management skills
* Flexibility in working patterns to meet project requirements
