WANTED: Senior Data Engineer
We (TLI SERVICES) are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to integrate a fast-growing Luxembourgish company.
By joining the TLI SERVICES Consultant Team, you will contribute to its growth and become a superhero in the company by being THE Master of Data.
Do you want to participate in this adventure?
Your missions:
* Lead a team of 3 Data Engineers and a software developer and work within a Data Science team.
* Focus on developing and enhancing a data lake, data warehouse, and SSAS cubes.
* Investigate both structured and unstructured data sources (e.g. Elastic Search, MongoDB, etc.) to identify required fields needed in reporting, by discussing with application management, key users, or business owners.
* Define and maintain foreign keys, relationships, and ER-diagrams.
* Diagnose and offer solutions for upload execution issues.
* Create and execute queries upon request for data.
* Develop and update technical documentation.
Your qualification:
* Bachelor's or master’s degree in Information Technologies or a related field.
* At least 6+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or Database Developing.
* Very good command of SQL to access and transform data, including T-SQL knowledge.
* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, developing and maintaining OLAP cubes.
* Experience working with unstructured data sources (e.g. Elastic Search, MongoDB, etc.) and ETL processes.
* Proficiency in C# or Python programming for developing custom tools.
* Strong analytical and investigative skills, combined with a strong service orientation.
* Leadership experience is a plus.
* Eager to learn, team spirit, initiative, and autonomous way of working.
* Fluency in English is mandatory.
