Our customer is an important Italian automation company, based in Emilia Romagna and focused on design and manufacture of complete packaging lines for food industry. Present with subsidiaries in several countries. For an important project of relaunch and growth, we are looking for a:
Export Area Manager
The position is based in Frankfurt, in a company of the group, reporting directly to the head of sales in Italy, he/she will lead all the processes and the activities of sales.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
· Establish a relationship of partnership and trust with customers, develop market and business strategies to ensure new sales and maintain quality post-sale;
· Attend fairs, events, existing customers, and potential customers;
· Increase revenue by identifying new business opportunities in the assigned localization area and serving existing customers;
· Enhance brand awareness, market share, and customer portfolio by visiting/meeting potential clients in promising regions and maintaining regular contact with customers to build a professional and trusting relationship;
· Collaborate with existing customers to generate revenue from new machine sales;
· Develop and execute strategies and action plans to achieve sales targets;
· Monitor overall sales performance by geographic area, including volume, service levels, order processing time, etc;
· Build successful relationships with distribution partners to ensure alignment and success;
· Achieve business goals and key performance indicators;
· Generate activity reports in the CRM system and other monthly administrative reports to track system activities;
· Participate in technical and commercial discussions with potential clients throughout the project;
· Ensure accurate formulation of offers, manage financial aspects, and negotiate commercial terms to secure sales;
· Identify emerging markets and market changes, stay informed about new products and competitive landscape;
· Master’s degree in Engineering (Desiderable)
· Previous Experience in Robotics & Automation industry (at least 5 years)
· Native German Speaker
· Advanced proficiency in English is mandatory.
Strong decision-making approach, outstanding organisational skills, leadership and motivation;
