<p>We are supporting a global pharmaceutical manufacturer to appoint a <strong>Head of Maintenance</strong> to lead maintenance strategy, equipment reliability, and technical operations across the site. </p><p><br></p><p>This role would suit a maintenance leader with strong experience in <strong>GMP manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, packaging, utilities and people leadership</strong>.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the maintenance function across production, packaging, utilities and site infrastructure.</li><li>Manage preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance activities.</li><li>Improve reliability, availability and performance of critical production equipment.</li><li>Lead maintenance planning, shutdown preparation and technical prioritisation.</li><li>Support equipment upgrades, line improvements, capacity increases and site investment projects.</li><li>Ensure maintenance activities are completed in line with GMP, EHS and quality requirements.</li><li>Manage deviations, CAPAs, change controls and maintenance-related investigations.</li><li>Lead technicians, supervisors, planners and external maintenance partners.</li><li>Drive spare parts strategy, maintenance KPIs, asset lifecycle planning and obsolescence management.</li><li>Partner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Validation and Supply Chain.</li><li>Support audits, inspections and customer-related technical reviews.</li><li>Manage maintenance budgets, vendors, service contracts and contractor performance.</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Strong maintenance leadership experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, FMCG, chemical or regulated manufacturing.</li><li>Experience leading maintenance teams in a complex production environment.</li><li>Good understanding of GMP, documentation, deviations, CAPAs and change control.</li><li>Experience improving equipment reliability, uptime and maintenance performance.</li><li>Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and asset lifecycle management.</li><li>Ability to lead technicians, manage priorities and work closely with production teams.</li><li>Experience with CMMS systems, maintenance planning and KPI management.</li><li>Strong EHS mindset and experience managing contractors safely.</li><li>Professional German and English language skills required.</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you enjoy maintenance leadership in a high-energy culture, then this position is for you.</p><p><br></p><p>Apply here with your latest CV or reach out to me on yogesh.makwana@discoverinternational.com</p><p><br></p><p>#Maintenance #ISPE #GMP #Pharmaceutical #Engineering #Leadership</p>
