KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA is looking for a dedicated Technical Assistant (m/f/d) to join our Marker Service department at our headquarters in Einbeck, Lower Saxony, at the earliest possible date. This full-time position is limited until September 2027.
The role involves performing simplex marker analyses, including the following tasks:
Preparation of samples for analysisPerforming PCR reactions for KASP, ddPCR, and gel-based markersHandling and maintenance of laboratory equipment, pipetting robots, and analysis systemsAnalysis and evaluation of results using appropriate software applicationsMaintenance of requirement- and application-related data pools in relevant databasesIn our department, we work according to standardized quality management processes. Completed vocational training as an ATA/BTA or a comparable qualification, ideally with some exposure to plants and seedsInitial experience in molecular biology is an advantageSolid knowledge of MS Office, as well as experience with databases and strong technical understandingFluent German and basic knowledge of EnglishHigh level of motivation and the ability to remain focused and productive under pressureReliable, independent working style and strong team skillsLet's peek at how you can grow your well-being, health, and future at KWS!
