Solar Engineering Specialist
We are seeking an experienced Solar Engineering Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Designing utility-scale ground-mounted solar PV projects, with a focus on project development support.
* Using industry-standard software to progress technical design work from preliminary to detail level, in line with project maturity.
* Optimizing layouts and yields based on constraint analysis.
* Ensuring designs comply with industry codes and standards, incorporating feedback from Construction, Operations, and Development teams.
* Supporting preparation of post-construction documentation.
* Providing expertise during project development and implementation, both remotely and on-site.
* Supporting and leading technical due diligences.
* Fostering optimal cooperation within Renewables, including developers, engineers, project-, contract-, and off-take managers, market analysts, and external partners.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field).
* Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery.
* Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems.
* Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities.
* Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Business fluency in English (other languages an advantage).
