We are looking for a nanny to look after our children three times a week in our own home. We will be at home some of the time, but will be busy cooking or doing other chores. Juri (6) and Jonna (2) don't speak English yet, but they regularly watch Peppa in English. Both of them have had English-speaking babysitters for a few months. We only speak German with our children. We are looking for someone who will speak English with them, so that they are learning English in a playful way. Juri's favorite activity is building with Lego. Jonna usually wants to be with her older brother. She is starting to talk. So we are looking for someone who, above all, enjoys playing with children and who can sometimes pick them up from daycare, which is just around the corner. Unfortunately, we have had many experiences with babysitters who were not reliable, which is why we are really looking for someone who can commit to at least a year. It will take some time for Jonna to get used to a new person at first. To pay 20 Euro per hour is not a problem for us. If you are living more than 30 Min. from our home away, we can also talk about more. Jonna (2) is a little shy at first, but she is a typical toddler?funny and likes to imitate everything. She is becoming increasingly self-aware, and it is quite easy to keep her occupied together with her brother Juri. She is already looking at her first books and building with Duplo blocks. Juri (6) is already quite independent. He paints, does crafts, and plays with Lego. He can already do math and tell time. It took him a long time to learn his own native language, but he has now caught up almost completely and speaks at a level appropriate for his age. He regularly watches Peppa in English and is exposed to many different languages at daycare. He thinks everything to do with the fire department and police is cool, but his favorite thing right now is building with Lego. Jonna is still breastfeeding, and that's okay. Juri will be starting school in the summer, which will change our family life once again. We are not vegetarians, but we try to teach our children to eat healthily. That's why sweets are only an exception. We don't have any pets, but we do have quite a few cuddly toys at the moment. Equality between men and women is important to us. Gender roles can be very restrictive for children and hinder their free development. There are no toys for girls or toys for boys. Both genders should have every opportunity and our children should find their role in what is still a stereotypical gender world. Details: Tagesmutter: Nein
