For our client, an international building materials company, we are looking for a Head of Sales who will be responsible for the Sandwich Panels Business Unit. The successful candidate will oversee Western European Markets and can be based anywhere in Europe.
Responsibilities:
1. Leading a small sales and customer service team in the local market.
2. Ensuring effective collaboration with key stakeholders and colleagues to align the sales team with other business areas (e.g., operations, production, finance).
3. Optimizing sales processes in close collaboration with Headquarters.
4. Acting as a point of contact for major clients, supporting negotiations, and potentially acquiring strategic major clients.
5. Conducting continuous market monitoring to explore new market potentials.
6. Managing cross-functional sales controlling, including monitoring forecasts, revenues, and KPIs.
7. Participating in trade fairs, conferences, and events.
Requirements:
1. Degree in Business Administration or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience in managing a team.
3. Knowledge or experience of the Sandwich Panels Market in at least one European country.
4. Service-oriented, sales-focused, and proactive in driving sales activities.
5. Leadership style characterized by value consciousness and a hands-on mentality.
6. Fluency in English.
