Responsibilities:
1. VAT Reporting: Prepare, review and submit all VAT returns, EC Sales Lists and consignment stock reports accurately and on time.
2. Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal tax policies to minimize tax risks.
3. Communication: Coordinate directly with tax authorities, fiscal representatives, VAT group leaders and internal departments in case of queries.
4. Systems: Post VAT-relevant data in SAP and the group-wide tax software AMANA.
5. VAT ID Validation: Perform qualified VAT ID checks (ZVAT-Check) and coordinate discrepancies with Customer Service, Sales and customers.
6. VAT Refunds: Identify eligible input VAT and submit refund applications to foreign tax authorities within deadlines.
7. Support: Assist with VAT registrations, year-end closing activities, internal audits, training sessions and documentation.
Qualifications:
8. Education: Completed commercial training (e.g. industrial clerk, tax clerk) or a comparable qualification.
9. Experience: Practical experience in VAT, accounting or order management is an advantage.
10. Languages: Excellent German and good English skills, both written and spoken.
11. Systems: Proficient in SAP (FI, SD) preferred; confident use of MS Office, especially Excel.
12. Work Style: Structured, reliable and self-driven approach with strong adherence to deadlines.
13. Teamwork: Strong communication skills, team spirit and confident interaction across departments.
14. Development: Willingness to grow professionally and actively contribute to process improvements.
