Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.
For our plant in Berlin-Mitte we are currently looking for a:
Working Student EMEA Programs (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
* Close collaboration with our Loyalty and Program Specialist
* Maintenance of contact details/ information on the Corning website and customer portals
* Supporting the preparation and follow-up of regular training and events e.g. creation & distribution of training certificates
* Processing of administrative day to day tasks e.g. invoicing, contracts
* Preparation of event material and product samples
Qualification:
* You are currently enrolled at university, preferably in the field of business administration or a comparable degree programme > a specialisation in marketing is an advantage
* You work carefully and in a structured manner, even if several projects are running in parallel
* You have good organisational, communication and planning skills
* You have a good eye for detail
* You have very good German and English skills (written and oral)
