Your Role: Development Project Leader (m/w/d) As Development Project Leader, you will be accountable for leading R&D projects (mainly Farm Animal projects including parasitology) and multi-functional teams from pipeline entry through approval. In this role you’ll be responsible for defining optimized project plans, ensuring appropriate strategy, and collaborating with critical functions outside of R&D. Your Responsibilities: Deliver project goals on time and in full by proactively managing project plans and assigned team members. Define optimized project plans for projects, including internal/external resource needs, development costs, and cost of goods. Ensure permanent collaboration and interaction with critical functions outside of R&D to ensure proper project valuation and ROI. Assemble, revise, and lead the project team, working with functional leadership to assign best-aligned SMEs. Identify and communicate project specific risks, status, and opportunities, including impacts, to executive leadership. What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications): Master’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., animal science, veterinary medicine, chemistry, biology or related sciences) A minimum of 10 years of experience in Research and Development A minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D project leadership across species, technology types, and R&D stages Demonstrated leadership skills and strategic thinking What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
