A fully remote (anywhere across EU) Software Architect is required for a fast-growing Biopharma company that has created digital models of cells to help drug companies develop medicines faster and more efficiently. Instead of expensive lab experiments, they use ‘Digital Twins’ — virtual copies of cells to predict cell behavior under different conditions. This technology helps companies find the best cells for medicine production, reducing costs and improving quality. Major pharmaceutical companies utilize this technology to speed up drug production and enhance reliability. The Software Architect will play a crucial role in building SaaS software, developing infrastructure and cloud computing, optimizing ML model performance, and integrating models into production environments to support the company's mission of advancing biopharma process digitalization. The role involves owning system architecture, guiding infrastructure decisions, overseeing external development efforts, and serving as the trusted technical partner to clients. Additionally, mentoring internal junior developers and strengthening in-house technical capabilities are key responsibilities. The HQ is based in Germany, but the role can be remote anywhere in the EU.
