Responsibilities
* Lead the design and continuous improvement of HMI switch components
* Ensure compliance with all technical specifications and industry standards
* Collaborate with system architects and other engineering teams to integrate HMI components into the vehicle
* Define and execute validation tests, including Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) and in‑vehicle testing
* Act as the technical interface for international suppliers
* Monitor development progress to ensure quality, timing, and milestone adherence
* Analyze and resolve technical issues during development and in the field
* Continuously enhance component performance based on test results and user feedback
* Create and maintain technical documentation for components
* Provide regular updates and reports to project stakeholders
Profile / Qualifications
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in HMI component development or a similar role
* Experience working in international and cross‑functional teams
* Strong knowledge of electromechanical components, especially switches and buttons
* Experience with system integration and validation in the automotive sector
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Intercultural competence and ability to collaborate across time zones
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
