Chief Commercial Officer
Contract Type: Interim (6-12 months)

Salary: £1500-£1700pd (outside IR35) + option for bonus
A high-growth, investor-backed infrastructure platform (with revenues of £20m) is seeking a commercially driven Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to define and execute its global revenue strategy.
This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of commercial performance, responsible for driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement. Working closely with the CEO and senior management team, the CCO will play a pivotal role in shaping business strategy and building a high-performing commercial function.
Operating in a dynamic and evolving market, this role requires a strategic thinker with strong execution capability, able to align sales, marketing, and customer success to deliver sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the company’s commercial strategy aligned to overall business objectives.
* Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market share expansion across target markets.
* Lead and optimise sales, including pipeline management, forecasting, and performance frameworks.
* Oversee marketing strategy, brand positioning, and customer acquisition initiatives.
* Enhance customer experience, retention, and long-term value through a customer-centric approach.
* Build and manage strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business opportunities.
* Own commercial P&L, working closely with finance on pricing, margins, and budgeting.
* Build a sale team and drive a high performance culture
To Be Suitable
* Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership role (CCO / CRO / Sales Director).
* Track record of driving revenue growth and commercial transformation.
* Strong background in leading sales, marketing, and business development functions.
* Experience operating within investor-backed or high-growth environments.
* Commercially astute with strong financial and analytical capability.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience operating at board level.
* Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
