Role overview
As a (Senior) Director and 'Head of Product Management Mosaic Network Controller', you will lead an international team of product managers specializing in network management for DWDM, Packet, and Timing. Your team will drive the evolution of the 'Mosaic Network Controller' (MNC) in collaboration with development, sales, service, and customers worldwide.
Principle duties and essential functions
* Develop features with customers and partners to support efficient, automated network operations
* Evolve the MNC for optimal device management support
* Contribute to a harmonized interface for management systems, supporting Adtran’s corporate identity
* Maintain a strategic backlog for MNC development covering 12+ months, including roadmaps
* Monitor MNC business performance and implement improvements as needed
Knowledge, skills, and experience
* Extensive experience in network management systems, network operations, and industry products
* Deep expertise in telecommunications, focusing on DWDM, Packet, and Timing
* Strong software affinity
* Leadership skills to manage teams, facilitate discussions, and communicate technical solutions
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus
* Willingness to travel 1-5 days per month
