About the role
As a Retail Activation Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping Dyson’s physical presence across all DACH retail environments. Your mission is to ensure a premium, consistent and brand‑compliant consumer experience at every point of sale. You will manage POS projects end‑to‑end, develop activation concepts, and collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to bring Dyson’s retail vision to life.
Your work will directly influence how consumers experience Dyson technology in stores — from fixtures and merchandising to engagement concepts and in‑store execution.
Key responsibilities include :
1. Ensure a premium, brand‑compliant presentation across all retail channels
2. Manage and coordinate the production of POS fixtures with internal teams, ensuring all materials meet brand and legal standards
3. Lead POS rollouts from initial requirements to final execution, ensuring quality, timelines and budgets are met
4. Oversee merchandising, maintenance and implementation of POS materials (2D/3D) across all DACH locations
5. Manage ordering and production of merchandising materials and fixtures
6. Guarantee the correct look & feel at every physical POS in line with Dyson’s merchandising guidelines
7. Deliver tactical POS requests from UK briefs through to local distribution
8. Develop activation concepts that engage consumers and bring Dyson technology to life at events and in stores
9. Plan, execute and measure activation results, including ROI analysis and sharing best practices across DACH, UK and other markets
10. Conduct regular store visits to assess user experience and monitor competitor activity
11. Build strong relationships with internal teams (Marketing, Training, Sales, Group, RCoE, agencies) to improve processes and output quality
12. Support additional projects or assignments as required
About you
13. Ability to work independently and collaboratively
14. Highly organised, creative, proactive and able to generate new ideas
15. Strong project management and planning skills
16. Experience in Retail Activation, Visual Merchandising or Trade Marketing, ideally combining brand, agency, marketing or sales exposure
17. Strong team player with credibility, integrity and flexibility
18. Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
19. Passion for brand building and retail go‑to‑market execution
20. Proven ability to manage complex workloads and deliver against plans
21. Comfortable navigating changing requirements while maintaining focus on brand objectives
22. Strong technical understanding related to POS materials and retail execution
23. Proven track record in project management
24. Native German speaker
25. Fluent English (written & spoken)
26. Strong communication and commercial skills
27. Driver’s license
28. Willingness to travel (approx. 25%)
