Technical Manager Role Overview
As a Technical Service Manager, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise and guidance to customers. You will work closely with the commercial team to promote, build, and maintain business in specific areas.
Key responsibilities include:
* Serving as the primary technical advisor to customers, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions
* Recommending products aligned with customer requirements and compliance guidelines
* Developing and sharing technical solutions and concepts requested by internal teams
* Conducting training and workshops on topics like color stability, application methods, and regulatory compliance
* Shaping and executing market strategies for confectionery and bakery segments
* Supporting product innovation by identifying market trends and customer needs, collaborating closely with marketing and research teams
Requirements:
* Advanced education in food technology or a related field
* Proficiency in German and English, and solid computer skills, ideally skilled in JDE and Salesforce
* Proven experience in managing teams and application technology within the confectionery or bakery sectors
* Creative problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset
* Comfort working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments
* Willingness to travel to customer sites and industry events
