Responsibilities
* Develop and lead the sales team with responsibilities for Mid-Market and Enterprise initiatives in EMEA, primarily in Germany and across the DACH region.
* Shape and execute segment strategy for long-term planning and day-to-day improvements.
* Hire top talent and coach and develop the team.
* Collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Partnerships, Operations, Enablement, and Customer Success to identify trends and opportunities.
* Accurately forecast and model monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue.
* Identify career paths to grow the next generation of Klaviyo sales professionals in Germany.
* Prioritize customers and develop strategies to optimize the customer journey.
* Pursue improvements in sales efficiency, shorten the sales cycle, improve win rates, and increase average deal size.
* Introduce new tools and processes into the workflow and lead change management and best practices adoption.
* Be a thought leader for the team and region.
Impact and Leadership Areas
* Team: Maintain high performance standards, motivate the team, and conduct regular strategic 1:1 development conversations. Set quantitative and qualitative goals to support professional and personal growth.
* Leadership: Align with Sales Leadership to set direction for Mid-Market and Enterprise; collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Enablement, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success in EMEA and the USA; coach and inspire AE managers and AEs to unlock potential.
* Operations: Use data to drive strategic decisions; communicate trends and actionable recommendations clearly to colleagues and stakeholders; identify and implement tools and processes to improve workflows and manage change effectively.
* Customers: Prioritize customers and design a customer-centric sales strategy.
Requirements
* Proven experience in mid-level leadership, ideally in a fast-growing technology or SaaS company.
* At least 8 years of experience leading a sales team and proven success in developing the German market or the DACH region as a Country Manager or Regional Director.
* Growth mindset and a self-driven, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
* Global perspective and demonstrated success in hiring and developing sales talent at all levels—from entry-level AEs to Senior ICs and Sales Managers.
* Strong coaching skills and a passion for helping others grow professionally.
* Ability to build strong relationships with internal teams (Marketing, Partnerships, Enablement, etc.) and external stakeholders (customers, agencies, prospects).
* Data-driven decision-making and experience partnering with leadership to plan and launch successful new initiatives.
* Strategic thinking with an operating focus and execution capability; results-oriented with initiative.
* Experience in a dynamic, high-velocity sales environment and deep understanding of SaaS and sales economics.
* Unrestricted work authorization in Germany.

Compensation and Equity
* Base Pay Range in Local Currency: €153,600—€230,400 EUR.
* Total rewards may include annual cash bonus, variable compensation (OTE) for sales roles, equity, sign-on payments, and a comprehensive benefits package.
