With over 600 years of tradition, the Faculty of Medicine at Leipzig University is one of the largest research institutions in the region. The faculty trains about 3,600 students in human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and midwifery.The Leipzig Cohorts and Trial(ist)s (LeiCoT) program addresses the growing need for clinician scientists who develop and conduct cohort studies and randomized controlled trials.
