Your area of work:
The Eurex Trading Business Strategy team is seeking for a new intern to join and support its exciting portfolio of activities focused on the listed derivatives business. The team is working in close alignment with the Eurex CEO and management team to accomplish a wide variety of tasks that span from long term strategic planning activities to ad-hoc competitive analysis tasks and evaluation of measures.
Your responsibilities:
1. You will help with the analysis and monitoring of macroeconomic, market sector and technology trends in the framework of Eurex strategic positioning
2. You will assist the ongoing review and coordination of Eurex listed derivatives strategy across initiatives, asset classes and services in close coordination with the relevant business owners
3. You will help the Identification and prioritization of organic and inorganic growth opportunities that might translate into profitable products/services for Eurex exchange-listed derivatives portfolio
4. You are involved in competitive analysis and development of strategies to expand and diversify into ESG and Crypto derivatives space
5. In addition, you will support with the revenue and product/initiative roadmap budget planning and prioritization.
Your profile:
6. You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 3 semesters (Study focus on the field of informatics, mathematics, physics, economics, business studies or other relevant fields) or you already hold a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree that is not older than 6 months
7. Ideally, you have already gained your first practical experience in the context of internships in financial markets and already have gain basic understanding of the crypto industry
8. You are interested in derivatives market trading
9. You possess good problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical skills
10. You have very good knowledge of MS Office and the basics of SQL and Python
11. You are fluent in written and spoken English.
