Join our Global Functions Controlling team and gain practical experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting within a multinational environment. As a GFC Intern, you’ll support key processes like budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking, while learning how global finance operations work and collaborating with teams across regions.

Eligibility Criteria:
This internship is part of a local programme in collaboration with universities in Germany. To be eligible, candidates must:
* Be based in Bonn or within a commutable distance.
* Be actively enrolled at a German university for the entire duration of the internship.
As part of the application process, you will be required to provide documentation confirming your eligibility. This includes a valid ID, student visa (if applicable), and an official enrolment certificate.
Your key accountabilities include:
* Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
* Validate and reconcile financial data for accuracy.
* Assist with monthly closing and reporting (cost centre reports, variance analysis).
* Prepare management presentations and dashboards.
* Support budgeting and forecasting cycles for global functions.
* Collaborate with global and regional finance teams to collect and analyze data.
* Provide ad hoc analysis and support as needed.
What are we looking for from you?
* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science or related field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and understanding of basic financial concepts.
* Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
* Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a global team.
* Interest in financial controlling and international business.
