Employment Lawyer (Interim) – Tech Scale-Up in Cologne (Hybrid). ASAP start.
We’re looking for an interim Employment Lawyer to join a fast-growing tech company with a global footprint and a supportive, people-centric culture.
This is a part-time opportunity ideally suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment and enjoys a broad, hands-on role with room to make a real impact.
What you’ll be doing :
Advising on day-to-day employment law matters in Germany - from performance management and policy updates.
Supporting on project-based employment work across multiple jurisdictions (Germany, UK, Netherlands, Poland, Japan, US).
Helping shape employment practices in a scalable, employee-first way that balances legal compliance with a friendly, non-hierarchical culture.
Working closely with People, Legal and Leadership to support decision-making that’s grounded, clear, and low on legalese.
What we’re looking for :
A qualified German employment lawyer (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht is a plus) with experience supporting fast-growing or tech businesses.
A highly practical, commercially-minded advisor - someone who understands that we’re risk-aware, but not risk-averse.
Experience in international employment matters or working with global teams is a bonus.
