We’re expanding and currently looking for a Documentation Manager (m/f/d) to join and support our customer team in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
In this role, you will be at the center of key document and data management processes for a major satellite program. Working closely with experienced and collaborative colleagues in configuration management and project teams, you will help ensure high-quality documentation and smooth information flow across all stakeholders.
You will take full ownership of your scope, acting as the main point of contact for document control at the national level, while also contributing to transnational coordination of tools, processes, and standards. The role combines structure and precision with effective communication, offering variety, autonomy, and purpose within a modern and supportive work environment.
Your main tasks will be:
1. Formal review of internal documents for compliance with templates and guidelines
2. Receiving and verifying external documents and data package deliveries
3. Coordinating the delivery of documentation to internal teams, suppliers, and customers
4. Supporting consistency, traceability, and completeness of technical records
Requirements
What we’re looking for:
5. At least 2 years of experience in documentation management within the aeronautics sector
6. Completed training in technical documentation or a similar qualification
7. Fluent in German and English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
8. A precise, reliable, and structured working style with a team mindset
9. Experience with PDM systems ( PTC Windchill) or collaboration platforms ( Confluence, Google Workspace) is a plus
10. Solid skills in MS Office and/or Google Apps
