As a component manager in the sidewall/roof area, you will develop innovative series solutions from the first draft to successful industrialization and manage the technical implementation in a dynamic, international environment between Germany and India.

Your tasks
6. Design and development of individual parts and assemblies (sidewall/roof), taking into account cost, weight and deadline targets
7. Close cooperation with specialist departments such as design, crash, NVH and durability as well as coordination with production, logistics and purchasing
8. Developing technical solutions and creative concepts together with development partners in Germany and India
9. Ensuring integration capability in the plants and developing modular solutions for VAN product variance
10. Independently representing the component scopes in functional groups and bringing about decisions in relevant committees
Your profile
11. Degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or body construction
12. Relevant expertise in component development (passenger cars/commercial vehicles) as well as sound knowledge of body shell construction, materials and manufacturing processes
13. Confident handling of Siemens NX (or comparable CAD systems) and ideally knowledge of MBAG systems (Smaragd, Dialog, Doors NG etc.)
14. Experience in the product development process (MDS/VDS) is desirable
15. Business fluent in German and English
16. You are an innovative team player with a high level of initiative and assertiveness
17. Your way of working is characterized by analytical thinking and a holistic, entrepreneurial approach - also in an agile environment
18. You have presentation skills and the ability to negotiate complex issues in a targeted manner
