Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Strategy ManagerStrategy and Business Intelligence Analyst for the Business Line Medium-Voltage SwitchgearCandidate can be located anywhere across EuropeThe work model for the role is: hybrid/remote. #LI-hybridIn this role, you will join the Strategy & Market Intelligence team of the Business Line (BL) Medium-Voltage (MV) Switchgear (belonging to the Electrification Distribution Solutions (ELDS) Division), reporting to the Strategy Manager. You will have the opportunity to work together with experienced members of the team, working most of the time in a project setup typically including a Project Lead and other team members of our BL and other ABB entities.You will support strategy definition, strategy execution, and business intelligence activities for a leading global BL.Each day, you will assess potential growth opportunities, gather market intelligence—including pricing and competitive intelligence—and perform market and financial modeling to support strategic efforts across the BL. You will also support senior stakeholder decision-making by synthesizing and documenting your work for the BL leadership.ResponsibilitiesYou will be mainly accountable for:Collecting and analyzing information to frame and evaluate potential growth opportunitiesPerforming competitive analysis (product offering, financial performance, market positioning, etc.)Driving financial modeling (growth, cost/profitability) to support the definition of business cases for individual opportunities as well as the overarching strategic plan for the Business LineRunning pricing intelligence in strong cooperation with SalesSupporting strategic project execution and other deliverables, such as the preparation of BL leadership meetings and strategy workshopsQualificationsPrior experience in Strategy or Financial or similar analyst role (1–2 years)Strong analytical skills, team player at heartAbility to structure and drive market intelligence and market modeling activities with limited guidanceSolid understanding of financial data and evaluationFamiliarity and interest in the energy and/or power markets; knowledge of medium-voltage and/or switchgear market is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and PowerBIStrong communication skills, both written and oralHighly motivated, results-oriented, and willing to learn quicklyYou will work in a global Business Line at the core of the electrification industry, contributing directly to strategic decision-making and market insights shaping the future of the MV Switchgear business.Join us.
