About the team and the role:
Shipping plays a key role in building buyer trust and driving marketplace conversion. This role sits at the center of the initiatives at eBay sought at scaling shipping capabilities and delivering value to both sellers and buyers. As Head of Managed Shipping, Labels & PUDO, you will own the growth and performance of eBay’s shipping solutions within the market, leading strategy, execution, and results.
You will work closely with Product, Marketplace Operations, Finance, and Go-to-Market teams to expand adoption, improve customer experience, and drive measurable business outcomes. This role requires a balance of critical thinking and hands-on execution, with accountability for delivering impact across the marketplace.
What you will accomplish:
1. Own and grow Managed Shipping, Labels, and PUDO performance, driving adoption, revenue, and customer satisfaction
2. Define and implement strategies that increase seller uptake and expand marketplace penetration
3. Improve end-to-end shipping experiences for sellers and buyers by identifying gaps and partnering with Product and Operations
4. Influence product roadmap priorities through close collaboration with Product and Engineering teams
5. Align cross-functional collaborators across Marketplace Operations, Finance, and Go-to-Market to deliver market strategy
6. Establish operating rhythms to observe critical data points, lead business reviews, and encourage ongoing performance improvement
7. Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and pace while leading cross-functional initiatives
What you will bring:
8. Significant experience (10+ years) in business leadership, strategy, product, or marketplace operations
9. Consistent track record of driving growth and coordinating efforts across multiple functions in complex environments
10. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
11. Ability to translate insights into clear actions that improve business performance
12. Effective collaborator management and communication skills across diverse teams
13. Experience scaling programs or products in marketplace or platform environments; logistics or shipping experience is a plus
14. Flexibility to work across London, Bern, or Berlin and collaborate with distributed teams
