Hauptaufgaben
*Manages all phases of mechanical and electrical engineering projects, including design, repair, and construction.
*Acts as the Contracting Officer's Representative, overseeing service contracts for installed equipment.
*Prepares detailed project designs, specifications, and cost estimates for bidding purposes.
*Conducts field surveys and site inspections to gather data, monitor construction progress, and ensure compliance with regulations.
*Develops and prepares cost estimates for materials and labor for project budgeting and planning.
*Analyzes project costs and recommends cost-saving measures by selecting alternative materials and methods.
*Reviews and inspects construction work to ensure it meets project plans and provides solutions to on-site problems.
*Performs technical oversight of all electrical, mechanical, and building operational requirements.
*Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifikationsanforderungen
C1-0802-6A:
Any 2-year apprenticeship with focus on engineering/ construction/ architecture methods and techniques PLUS 3 years of job-related experience.
C1-0802-07:
Any 2-year apprenticeship with focus on engineering/ construction/ architecture methods and techniques PLUS 4 years of job-related experience.
Job Related Experience:
Experience must be directly related to the area of specialization of the position and must be at a level of difficulty that compares to the grade of the position to be filled. Advanced journeyman trades and crafts experience that provided intensive knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, methods, and precedents is a prerequisite (for example, experience as a technician, instructor, inspector, or mechanic that shows progression in theoretical and practical knowledge of the area of specialization of the position).
