The Research Center L3S welcomes applications for the following position starting as soon as possible: Research Associate in Artificial Intelligence (salary scale 13 TV-L, 100 %)
The position is limited until December 31, 2028 with the possibility for renewal and offers the possibility to do a PhD. The scope of the position corresponds to 100% of the jointly agreed working hours.
Your role
At L3S, new machine learning and generative AI approaches are developed for a broad spectrum of applications, ranging from production to medicine. Your task will be to work independently on corresponding research questions and development tasks in the context of projects in the field of AI, to work with regional businesses and public sector organizations on applications of AI, and to publish research results at international conferences and in scientific journals.
Who are we looking for?
The prerequisite for employment is a completed scientific university degree (Master or Diploma) in computer science. Ideally, you will also bring in-depth knowledge in several areas of artificial intelligence. You should have the ability and willingness to collaborate with experts from different scientific and technical disciplines as well as from industry. In addition, very good German and English skills, both oral and written, are expected.
