WHAT WE OFFER YOU
For our Lemwerder location we are looking for the next possible date
IT Security Operation Engineer (m/f/d)
Your position in our crew
 * To further develop our operational IT security team, we are looking for an IT Security Engineer who will use their expertise to drive forward operational security projects, respond to current threats and vulnerabilities and derive measures.
 * In your role, you will advise various teams on IT security issues and ensure the security of the IT infrastructure.
 * In daily business, you monitor the threat situation in the relevant information sources and in the internal security tools (SIEM) in order to be able to react quickly to potential security threats. To do this, you evaluate corresponding reports and initiate countermeasures according to urgency.
 * You also regularly check security-relevant configurations and measures and compare them with the IT security strategy.
 * As you can see, this is an interesting key position in which you will be just as convincing as a technical contact person for our security officers as you will be as a coordinator of external partners (SOC, pentest and red teaming engagements)
 * Main topics: SIEM, SOC, SIR, XDR, SOAR, threat hunting, vulnerability management
At NVL, we rely on a storm-tested crew in which everyone can rely on everyone else. That's why we promote a working environment that invites you to stay and offer anchoring opportunities such as exciting development opportunities in more advanced roles throughout NVL. Of course, we will accompany you on your journey with us with targeted personnel development measures, which we will be happy to tell you about in a personal meeting.
What you have in your luggage
 * Completed IT studies or IT specialist training with at least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably with appropriate certifications (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, OSCP or GSOC, CEH)
 * Experience in managing complex projects, ideally also in authorization management, application operations, DER/AV and hardening of AD environments
 * Sound knowledge of network infrastructures and Linux / Windows system landscapes
 * Know-how in network security, network segmentation, fine-grained firewall rules and the separation of security zones
 * Interest in trends such as artificial intelligence, DevSecOps and zero trust; ISO 27001 and BSI basic protection are an advantage
 * A communicative team player who engages effectively with various stakeholders and communicates complex security concepts
